We went to the Italian festivel at Newport on the Levy last night. That was the most pathetic excuse for an Italian fest ever. I am amazed people make a big deal of it.

There were about 6 food booths, one was Papa John's for fuck's sake and that was the only one there was pizza at. The other 5 had about 3 other food items each. There were no Zepoli's or funnel cakes or cannolis.

So dissapointing.

I don't want anything except people to not waste their time. It just seems like
people make a big deal of it here for no good reason.

Is it the one right on the river? The only time I've seen it is after parking nearby to go to a Reds game. Seemed pretty small time IMO. I assume the crowd was pretty small?

Right on the levy. They had over 100,000 visoters last year and it was insanely crowded when we were there.

We took the kids to Newport on the Levee a few months back. Took them to the aquarium and around that little area. OK, nothing great.

This weekend we went to Kings Island and stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge. Fun time. It's nice having something like that less than a couple of hours away.
