I've been dutifully putting my $20K into the youth squad each week, for each of the two weeks I've been in the league. I'm wondering what people are making per week from their squads, once they get them trained up to a respectable level.
cheers

It's still a random science with an excellent squad. However, chances are better that you'll get someone of use. I've received a number of solid and passable players, but it took a long time before I got my first passable player. By that, I mean, passable in anything other than form or stamina.

I've gotten one good player, who I sold for $600,000 plus. Tom Sanders. He was great.
I have a passable squad and my best player came last week.
Value, a whole $18,000.
how high can your youth squad go?

I pulled an inadequate 19 y/o keeper this week, and my youth squad is only up to "weak." I have heard from a few places that your odds are best with keepers if your youth squad remains in the lower ratings. Just FWIW - makes some sense to me, as you don't need to "luck out" with multiple ratings to get a worthwhile player.

My week 4 (of owning the team) pull with a weak squad:
Damien Croft
8 000 US$, 17 years, passable form
Has disastrous experience and poor leadership abilities
Stamina: weak Keeper: disastrous
Playmaking: weak Passing: weak
Winger: wretched Defending: poor
Scoring: poor Set Pieces: wretched
Not horrid -- especially considering he's now my #3 inner middie (although that's more of a reflection on how poor my inner midfield guys are).
