One of the issues with the game is that sometimes pre-scheduled games get set to the wrong venue. For example, in some games Army will play at Navy over and over again, instead of alternating home sites, or else scheduled home and homes take place at the same site twice.
I have found a work-around - I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere else, so if I am telling you all something you already know, forgive me. :)
Before you roll the season over (after setting the training settings), save the game. Open the stats.dat file in the savegame folder. Open the SchedMatch table. Reverse all fields. Save the file, roll the game over.
I've done some testing, and it seems to completely fix the problem, in both single player and multiplayer.

Good. I played @ ASU once again. Needless to say they did kill me and it would make no difference where we played, but I am glad you solved this.

But we are actually 2-2 with both teams 1-1 at home. we just played back to back at the other's home field.
The quirky ones are you vs WSU...2-2 overall all at UofA

This problem and fix actually have nothing to do with conference games. I believe those generally get scheduled correctly, although there can sometimes be eccentricities.

I don't know that I've seen this specific fix before, but it is pretty much an accepted fact that in order to get BBCF to function close-to-properly, you have to frequently make changes to the game's database. Sigh.

The only issue involves the rotation of home-away non-conference games for the preset games (SC-Notre Dame, ..). Plus, the game will work right, the switching of home-away may just not be 100%. To fix this, you can:
1. Do what st. cronin described here.
2. Remove the games from that table and schedule them manually.
Either way, I will put in a patch to fix this once I update the game to work with the pro game. But, given there is a workaround, it's not as dire as this post seems to indicate.

I have also discovered that you can manually pick your bowl teams this way. Just enter the team number in the appropriate column. You need to do this before simming the conference championships, however.

You can change the venues, but I don't think you can pick the teams. I think that comes straight off the GDCS ranking.

Not really. It works close-to-properly as-is IMO. It just has some quirks as per every other game I play, and thankfully this one is fixable.
