Mentors

Hey guys,
My questions is this:
If you have a Mentor, does it matter if he is active or inactive for the young players to benefit?

In FOF2K4, the mentor and the young players needed to be active. I am not aware that this has been retested for FOF2K7, but I doubt that it has changed.

How bout Active but Disgruntled? If I was pissed, I wouldnt help.
