Not sure if there are really any musical fans out here but I saw this play earlier today and I have to say that I was impressed with it. Obviously it wasn't the Broadway version of it, but it was still a good show nonetheless. It was at the Pantages Theatre on Hollywood Blvd which is worth seeing at least once in a lifetime. Singing was superb as the two leads were able to carry the show alone. I took my girlfriend to see it and it was actually her first time in that part of Los Angeles and thought it was pretty cool. I, being the smartass that I am, looked at her and said "Welcome to Hollywood" and then busted up laughing. Of course, she looked like I was an idiot for saying such words, but it was perfect. :)

Saw it in New York and in Detroit. Felt some of the talent was better in the traveling version. One of my favorite musicals, great show and a must see for anyone.

I'll be seeing this in the near future. I've got a New York trip coming up in September, and we have season tickets to a local theater which gets the traveling shows. I'll get to see it in one of these two places. My wife just read the book this is based on and loved it. Apparently it was the first time in about 30 years that she needed a dictionary on-hand while reading.

I am going to see this on Aug 1st, hope it lives up to its hype. The show was extended 3 weeks in Philly because of strong sales.

I saw it when I was in New York. It was great, one of my favorites next to Rent.

Fun show. I saw and reviewed the touring production when it came to OKC.

I have never seen the show, but I do enjoy the music from it.
