Casually washing your hands after chopping jalepenos to put into your chili apparently doesn't get all the hot stuff off of your fingers. So if you find yourself in this situation, let me assure you that the last thing you want to do is scratch your balls... :( :mad: :( :(

For the record, it sucks to touch your eye, too...
For some odd reason, somebody didn't believe I could eat a jalapeno without needing milk or sour cream, so I proved them wrong by eating a few slices. I immediately went to the bathroom and washed my hands with soap a few times, and went about my merry way. About an hour later, my contact lens was annoying me, so I stuck my finger in my eye to adjust it, oh wow, was that painful.

Needless to say, that contact lens was a lost cause, I had to get someone else to drive me home since I couldn't see.

I'm sure you know this, but it was several hours later.

And wouldn't you know it...at about three in the morning I rubbed my eye in my sleep and woke up to a burning eye. The sucker is still tingling.

That particular jalapeno must have been a pretty potent one.
