So yesterday I go to the credit union to get the limit raised on my credit card and a debit card for when I head to Granada this fall.

Absolutely gorgeous girl is the finance officer who helps me out. I notice she's got rings on, but none on the ring finger of the left hand. Really nifty sterling silver stand with ornate knotwork and red hearts in the cardinal directions with the word Imagine written across the front of it.

I'm imagining all right as she's asking me the qualifying limit raising questions, place of employment, how much making, etc. This chick is absolutely efficient and professional, doesn't even raise a brow when I say Victoria's Secret. I'm feeling the embarassment when I say "Living with parents" when she asks if I own, rent, or live with parents.

So get the credit limit raised, get the debit card... she hands me this big packet of informational stuff on the credit union's services and her business card, which I find amusing because I already have accounts and a credit card and now debit card there.

Get home and Mom says, "Nice sticker."

"What?"

She pulls the sticker off my shirt that says XL on it, "Forgot to take this off when you put it on this morning didn't you?"

Yep, I did. Size sticker right on there as I went through the credit union, did business with hot finance officer chick....

I was absolutely mortified.

Try teaching a class of 7th graders with your fly unzipped and when one of the students raises their hand and tells you about it in front of the whole class, someone one else blurts out "you just noticed that?"

Yeah, double-checking is always good.

Too bad it wasn't on your pants. You could be on date right now!

Had that happen with a college English professor. Worst part (for him) was that he was wearing a bright red sweater, tucked in, so it was like shining through his pants the entire class. We were all so mortified no one said a word until someone told him after class. The next day, to his credit, he asked that we bring something like that to his attention next time.

Best one, though, was the female band instructor who got toilet paper stuck in her stockings AND accidentally tucked her dress into them as well. Holy shit was she pissed that no one told her.
