As the proud father of a 5- and 3-year old (both girls), I can relate. Funny stuff. Best part is, you never know when it's coming. Then BAM they'll use a body part as a punch line.

Lol. Just wait till you're my age and you'll find what 20 yr olds will like to be kinda stupid. My parents couldn't get into Robin Williams so history just repeats itself. But it is funny that you would find a couple of pasty-faced nerds in very dorky clothing trying to be really clever and witty that they end up being lame and stupid. But then again, I thought Robin Williams and the other funny people of the 80s to have been (and still are) the greatest.

I must be too old for a clip like that. Usually I can see where the humor was supposed to be even if I didn't find it funny. Without the context of the rest of this thread, I wouldn't have even known that clip was supposed to include humor.

if anything, I didn't find it that funny because it was so predictable. but it was pretty clearly a setup/joke, just not acted that well.

maybe it's an attention span thing, and when you get older it's hard to stick with something and wait for a punch line? (someone mentioned robin williams as being funny, and his style has always been to deliver jokes/impressions that are instant and brainless)

I think the lack of a laugh track really makes it hard for some folks to "get" if something is supposed to be funny or not -- they were conditioned by live comedy/variety shows and sitcom laugh tracks for decades.
