As the title says, I'm going to be starting a dynasty with the '64 Dodgers. It's a season with a great race in both leagues, although at 80-82, the Dodgers finished in the middle of the pack. I'll be managing each game, so perhaps we'll be able to change that.

I'm actually going to play without expansion possible, so in future seasons (if we get there), we're going to play with solely the teams in the original season. Also, we'll be using the PureSim created schedule, which should change things up a bit.

I'll post the box score for each game and stats and standings periodically. If you want anything else, feel free to ask, and I'll be more than happy to post it for you.

Also, hopefully this will spur some interest in PureSim (and a multiplayer FOFC league).

Some stuff from the preseason PSPN issue

The power rankings have us ranked 19th. Out of 20. Ouch. Minnesota, Milwaukee and Detroit are the top 3. St. Louis tops the NL. Yankees close out the top 5.

Mays, Aaron, Oliva, Mantle, Frank Robinson and Cepeda are the hitters to watch.

At $42.2 million, Milwaukee has the highest payroll in the league. At $31.9, Washington has the lowest. We're in 17th at $32.8.

Well, I appear to have hit my first snag. I'm having some trouble printing out box scores so that they're still readable.

Any suggestions?

You mean they're not readable out of pure sim or when you post them here?

For the latter you can put them in [ code ] [ / code ] brackets, without the spaces, for the former, I got nothing for ya man.

The PureSim print-to-text file isn't very good. Here it is in code

I'm not sure how the box scores are displayed, but if you only mean to use them occasionally you could screen capture them and post the picture here. Obviously this wouldn't work well to do very often though.
