Looks like it will be a battle between my boy Lang and some combination of Shockley/Redmond (barring any new signings). If you guys hear anything about how Lang is doing in camp, his chances of making the team, etc. - let me know. I watched him and the amazing things he did in college including winning the Peyton award (I-AA equivalent to the Heisman) his senior year and would love to see him succeed.

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Former All-American William and Mary quarterback Lang Campbell (Winchester, Va.) has signed a free agent contract with the Atlanta Falcons and joined the team for its first day of training camp.
Campbell, 25, joins the Atlanta Falcons after having spent the previous two pre-season camps with the Cleveland Browns. Most recently, Campbell was the starting quarterback for the Austin Wranglers of the Arena League. Campbell also spent the 2006 season as the starting quarterback for the Berlin Thunder in NFL Europe.
Campbell ended his career at the College with one of the most successful single-season performances in the history of the program, as he earned consensus First Team All-American recognition and was named as the Football Championship Series’ most outstanding offensive player by being named as the 2004 Payton Award winner.
Campbell joins Pro Bowl safety Darren Sharper (Minnesota Vikings), starting long-snapper/TE Mike Leach (Denver Broncos), wide receivers Dominique Thompson (St. Louis Rams) and Rich Musinski (San Diego Chargers) and offensive tackle Adam O’Connor (Minnesota Vikings) as Tribe alumni in NFL camps.
