Open Office question

Is it possible to convert an open office text document to a word document?

I think if you click "Save As" and click on the drop down thingy there's a ".doc" selection.

Yes....I think you do a Save As and then select Word. We use OpenOffice at home and I had to send resumes in Word so I believe that is the process.
