Somehow I just don't think I would be turned on by a gun pointed at my head. But that's just me.

Bizarre Twist in Shooting Death

A sexual encounter turns deadly for one Lake Charles couple after a bizarre sequence of events. McCindy Road in south Lake Charles is typically a quiet road, but a single gunshot fired early Thursday morning brought the neighbors outside.

Rebecca Miller lives down McCindy Road and saw flashing lights outside around midnight. "We saw the ambulance and all that down here and we came out," says Miller.

Kimberly Grosset was visiting her boyfriend, Robert White when their time together took a bad turn. Calcasieu Parish Sheriff Tony Mancuso says, "White and Grosset were engaged in consensual sexual behavior involving a firearm when the firearm was discharged, resulting in his death."

The single bullet struck White in the head, and as he struggled to hold on to life, Grosset made an emergency call for help. Mancuso says, "The shooter called 9-1-1 and we responded."

White was taken to Lake Charles Memorial Hospital where he died around 3:00 A.M. Thursday morning. Authorities say the shooting appears to be an accident. "From the information we've gathered," says Mancuso, "this is an activity that the couple engaged in frequently."

Since authorities believe there was no criminal intent behind White's death, Grosset has been charged with negligent homicide, which carries a maximum of five years behind bars. Mancuso says, "When you know something's dangerous and you're intentionally still doing it, there's still a result and a consequence to that and in this particular case it would be negligent homicide."

Psychiatrist, Dr. Dale Archer, explains why some couples might engage in risky behavior together, "Most of us would look at a gun as something to cause fear, and therefore, it could trigger a similar type of chemical release in the brain, which would heighten the senses and enhance the sexual experience."

But in this case, it was an experience that had a deadly ending.

*Bond has still not been set for Grosset. She is being held at the Calcasieu Correctional Center.

sheesh, how ugly does she have to be to have it so the only way he can get off is if she points a gun at his head?

eh, I'm not sure he was getting off. more along the lines of "please me or I'll fire!" dominatrix type thing.

I don't get how the gun helps, but I really don't get why the live ammo is necessary.

Just in case anyone is thinking about ripping Louisiana for this, just be aware that Lake Charles identifies much more with Texas than it does with Louisiana.

DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS

We moved to Lake Charles when I was in the 8th grade.

Of course, 2 weeks later we turned around and moved home. The only day I was in school down there they took pictures for the class yearbook. They are probably still wondering - 'Who the F is that guy??' :D

Love to get my hands on one of those yearbooks just to see.
