What hat-wearing choice results in the fastest negative judgement of a person you know nothing about?

White boys who try to be all gangsta by doing the tilted hat thing.

BTW, I think I've been guilty of all 4 of these choices at some point in my life.
wearing it with all of the tags still on it

No 'all of these' choice?

Are #2 and #3 the same except with a 180 degree turn? I'm guilty of #1, the #4 doesn't bother me as much as #2 and #3. Those 2 options scream "Hello everyone I am an asshat, here to commit acts of douchebaggery!"
And where is the Rally Cap option?

the 'mechanic style' is driving me nuts lately. I am, at 30, now realizing I am old in part because of this. I want to smack kids who have their hat this way for some reason.

What about the one where the brim of the hat is 45 degrees from the from your eyes. It is offset from the front of your face. That one makes me want to smack the kid and tell him to put his hat on straight.
I wear my backwards only when I run. Other than that I always wear it the normal way.

Yeah, actually, I didn't read option 3 closely enough, and that's what I was thinking it was.

I don't get the difference between the styles. Aren't they backwards, to the side and hat so big you r ears fit inside comfortably, but it would fall off if you had to run which you couln't do anyway in a jersey that's XXXXXL with no laces in your shoes and belt around your knees showing boxers which could be easily pulled down in prison?
Edit: Then there is also the supposed lame-ass standard brim to the front look which the hat was designed for (and the only way I wear mine.)

Anyone who tries to be all gangsta by doing the tilted hat thing.
Maybe I'm just to old to get it, but it has always looked stupid to me no matter who is doing it.
And I agree with Joe, take off the damn tags, you're not Minnie Pearl (sp).

I had a random hook-up during college solely because she liked that I was wearing my hat backwards, but only about 170 degrees around.
Needless to say, that continued for awhile.

This is my vote as well, with the flat brim, rotated 45 degrees, stickers and tags still on it. Whatcha gonna do, return it, you so gangsta.

I'll disqualify myself since I own about 200 caps, and the *only* permissible way to wear them IMO is straight, facing forward, slight curve in the bill. Anything else is just wrong.

Yes I did. Thanks, at least tubgirl or goatse wasn't there.
I guess I can't link from wiggaz.com to show the picture representation of the poll options.

I'd like to see an "all of the above" vote. Hats should be worn straight ahead unless there is some reason it can be worn that way. The only time I turn my hat around is playing basketball outside. I need the hat or the top of my head burns easily, but I'd knock it off every time I took a shot.

2 and 3 equally. I can't stand the tilted look. Makes me want to smack the kid upside the head. No problems with backwards, I'll do that if I'm running or playing a sport or sometimes for the hell of it.

If your head is lopsided, I'll give you a bye on wearing it tilted. Other than that, I wouldn't be surprised if you aim your nine horizontal instead of vertical and you are wearing enough gold to make Mr. T jealous.

I have no problems with people who wear their hats full on backwards. I do the same thing when I'm bowling.

I wear my hat forewards, with a medium curve, slightly raised off my head so my bangs show. You know, kinda like this:

Not sure why but that picture makes me think of this one:

My hat is almost exclusively worn completely backwards or tilted to the front. I just find it more comfortable with the beak in the back and not distracting me. I tilt it only when I'm working out and the machine is behind me. Wearing a cap baseball-style, all up front just doesn't look right on me for some odd reason.
Anyways, the point is;
Screw you guys.

Isn't the whole "tags left on thing" to make the hat look stolen? Usually one of the 'tags' is the ink-dispensing-security-thing when I see hats or clothes worn this way.

Anything tilted or half sideways makes me immediately think you're an idiot.

I haven't seen a hat ever given a security tag. Are you thinking of the hologram?

Same with me. I haven't worn a cap in forever, and have recently been wearing a straw cowboy hat when I needed to wear a hat outside at the beach or whatever.

I have a couple straw cowboy hats myself. When I wore them, combined with a Fu Manchu a couple springs ago, people thought I was a young Col. Sanders or a Southern plantation owner.

What Joe and Sweed said.
I went to the Dodger/Giant game Thursday, and there was a damn 35-year-old man doing that. It doesn't make you look young, and it doesn't make you look cool.

Despite all the clamor about it in this thread, I have never seen this before. Or at least have never registered it in my mind when seeing it.
