Cringer

My Monday morning:
After two days and three nights at the Cringer Estate, I wake up after a few hours of sleep and get ready to go to work. Get to where I park the truck while at home, at about 0800. Enough time to do a pretrip, drive to my shipper, and have time left to spare.
Jump into the truck to start it before I load my stuff into it, and it won't start. Try again, dead. :(
Call my company, it turn call for road service to come get my truck going. A bit of good luck, it only takes 30 minutes for the guy to get there
(pretty damn good for road service). He gets me going, $125 dollars is paid on behalf of my company, and I get going. After a stop at a truck stop to scan my paperwork from last week (so I get paid friday), I head to the shipper.
Get to the shipper, get through security, and go to back up to the dock I was assigned. Hope out of the truck to open the doors, and in the process I take my keys clipped to my shorts off so I can take off the padlock. Open the doors, back to the dock, and hop out to go register in the office. Oh shit, I just locked myself out. I had tossed my lock and keys into the cup holder when I backed up to the dock.
SO I went and signed in anyways, and took the chance to ask the guy if anyone had a slim-jim. Nope, but thankfully this part factory. One of the main guys went and made me two. I stood on the top step, killing my back twisted in an odd position, for about 45 minutes. My truck shut off about 15 minutes into this (somewhat normal since I wasn't inside to stop it), and I was paranoid that even if I got the lock the truck would be dead again.
All in all, it iturned out ok. FInally got the passenger side lock to pop, and the truck even started back up. This is a bad start to what is supposed to be 2 1/2 weeks on the road.
/end rant.
