Here's a hint:
I get an e-mail when a new person registers. If you're trying to register a new account two days after you are banned, it's generally not the brightest idea to use the same birthday as the banned, and also to use an e-mail address of
[email protected]. Just a friendly notice before I get your IP addresses tracked down from the three e-mails you sent me complaining about your ban, as well as the ones you've posted from recently, so I can ban all of those. Have a nice day. :)

He actually did a very similar thing. He tried to "sneak" back in by registering a new account using his real date of birth, and I think used an e-mail address like

He was specifically warned not to stir up political crap any longer, so he does a copy and paste and calls it "sociological," rather than political. Yes I'm serious. If a long-time poster posted pornography directly to the board, I don't think he deserves lenience more than anyone else.
I can see where Skydog is coming from when he says he has a long history of on-topic posting for this particular infraction, since this is on the order of long-term political flooding. But as far as just someone being older getting more lenience, hell no.

It was very simple and clear cut IMO. PSU posted one of his trolling political threads, SkyDog told him to stop, and in the very next thread - that wasn't even about politics, PSU was trolling again. Good riddance, I say.

Thank you. I am quite proud. It's called a "single wide". There's an 8 pounder called the "double wide", but I didn't try that.
So I'm sitting at work, and my supervisor walks over to me and he says "Betcha you can't eat a 5 pound hamburger" and then I said "OH NO you didn't!!!" and then we ordered them.
They came in cakeboxes. They were big. Here's one of my co-worker's burgers he ordered awhile ago:

I find the defense of PSUC indefensible. He was the maestro of asshattery. It's nice to see the guy's true colors come out after he was banned, although I think his posting history gave us a pretty big clue.

People with a long history of posting about FOF, text sims and football will get more leeway from me. That's nothing new. It's the people that show up here with an agenda that's primarily political that get the shortest leashes. PSU didn't have terribly many posts, but up until a few months ago, a significant percentage of them were about FOF/text sims/football. He became a political troll relatively recently.

I was defending the guy in the thread but I agree that you had to do this.
Minor nitpick though, those copy and pastes were sociological not political as noted in the thread. Certainly though we know what and why he was doing that and it was pretty much waving his arms and saying ban me ( or boxing and I don't know for sure why this wasn't the option )!!
Still wasn't political though. ;)

To flesh this one out, the history was this...
1. On 8/1, he posts yet another incendiary political thread about Muslims (http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?t=60069). I send him a PM saying that the pot-stirring had to stop. I made the mistake, however, of specifically mentioning Muslims in that warning PM. As a result...
2. On 8/7, he posts an incendiary political thread (http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?t=60172) that wasn't about Muslims. Cute. I send him another warning PM on that day broadening it, saying no incendiary political stuff, period. So....
3. His next tactic is to post incendiary "sociological" discussion (http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/showpost.php?p=1521672&postcount=43) that surely would lead to incendiary political discussion.
It was clear where this was going. We have a general "don't act like an asshat" rule around here. It became clear that his intent was to continually violate that rule. ;)

i will miss him. he's one of the few people i remember being around before i was anymore. on the other hand, i don't read very many threads anymore and definitely none of the threads with any political leans. based on most reactions here, the ban seems deserved. so does ben's reaction to things, historically.
it's interesting. on the (fofc) trukz board, there was some discussion of how trigger-happy the (official) board admins can be and somebody mentioned that most (none?) board are quite as tolerant as the (and i paraphrase here since i can't remember the exact quote) pissy-but-tolerant mods over here. i can't say that i necessarily agree with the pissy part but our mods have always been damn tolerant (except for the 6 or so hours that the previous incarnation was ran by styx). from as long as i can damn well remember reading whatever incarnation of this board i can think of (including chubby's put-together-on-the-fly board, cheers if you remember it).
the other part i find funny personally is reading's ben's first post of the thread and thinking, "wonder how many posts before shorty jumps in to defend <name>?" today's count is 13.
i believe next on this semi-annual romp is hell atlantic's jumping in with 1) how PSU's attempt at trolling is weak because he (and dean houston, with one hand behind his back) could have done it better and 2) yes, the hivemind are at it again, agreeing with ben just to do so. what's the over/under on that one?

Definitely do. I ran the Bear Bryant Challenge on it for a few days, during the time I was banned from the Sideline by Styx for defending Blackadar.yeah, i was following that challenge for a good while. across multiple boards. :D

my board was so weak, I think I had like 3 screens and a generic mesage board (through EZ board or something) but it was a place to meet until we got something going :Dprecisely! that was awesome. :)
I'm more impressed with the burger now that I have seen a photo of one.
