The famous Perseid meteor shower is supposed to be the strongest tonight with the new moon. There should be anywhere from 30-80 meteors per hour visible. If there isn't too much ambient light where you are, take a stroll outside and see if you spot any of them.
I remember watching them up in the New Mexico mountains, where there was zero ambient light, and it was awesome.
