No sir.

Despite being cautiously optimistic at E3, I wasn't planning on buying Madden 08 this year.

Went to Target looking for "A Midsummer Night's Dream" - the one with James Cagney in it - and while I was there, noticed that they had Madden '08 (Xbox 360) marked at $39.99.

It's not the right price for the 360 version, as it turns out, but since it was priced that way inside the locked glass cage, they sold it to me for that price.

Thankfully, if it sucks, I'm fairly sure I can sell it at GameTZ or something and make my money back.

I am still holding strong. :)

I plan to wait until the pc version hits $20.00.
Last year I caved at $29.00.

I bought Madden 07 for the PC for $20 back in December and never even opened it. Anybody want it?

Yeah. I had been planning on picking 08 up, if I bought it, at $29.99, since that's the normal "budget" price for Xbox 360 games. Lower than that and it's either getting cleared out, isn't selling, or it's a "family" title.

Couldn't see Madden going lower than $29.99 on the Xbox 360, so a $10 premium over that to get it the day after release seemed worth it.

I'm feeling a little dirty right now, though. I went to 'Supersim' to watch another team's preseason game, and it gave me 7 achievements for 105 points based on that team's results. And that was after griping to kingnebwsu about how unrealistic some of the achievements are. Heh.

Does Target have the complete Shakespeare boxset there (Hamlet, Midsummer, Othello, Romeo)? If so, how much?
