Interested in knowing what others have learned about this since the beginning of the season. I've been training it at 10% since the beginning, and this week a 25 yo dropped his stamina from excellent to solid. Anyone have evidence of what percentage I'd need to train at to keep players at 28 and down at their current levels? I put it up to 20% now in an effort to reverse this trend, since that 25yo is my third starting IM, and just can't be having solid stamina in the midfield.

I notice I've been losing a little stamina at 10% myself so I'm bumping mine back up to 15%. Unfortunately, it's not like the old system or youth where you can just hit them with a dose of stamina training to get them back where they need to be :(

Given how fast my players over the age of 31 or so have dropped stamina, I foresee a LOT of players retiring sooner rather than later, especially midfield players. I don't think there is a way to keep those older players up in stamina without completely sacrificing any training you'd do.

Just means I'll have to switch to PM as my next training cycle, since my 29yo ET will be even more non sellable than he is now as time goes on.

I never thought about it that way but I guess it's a way to neuter some of those "buy middies at 29 and ride their low salary" people. Unfortunately, mine are starting to get old, too, so that could be a problem.

We've come full circle, going away from the "we want people to buy old players" adjustments from ~10 seasons ago where their wages went down to making them useless once again.

I run at 15% and have one of those "play with a 29yo ET middie to profit from the salary decrease". F$ck ;)

I have noticed that at 15%, I looked up this week and all of my team except for a couple of trainees are passable or higher stamina and that includes a couple of late 20's middies. So, I've dropped back to 11% to save some form and see how it does.

It looks to me as if passable is the middle, and stamina pulls both ways towards that middle. The scale is definately a sliding one based on age and how far from passable it is. I'm also thinking now that solid is really the sweet spot for most all players, even middies. I ran at 15% for the week following those two drops. A 27yo keeper made it to passable, couple others made it to excellent, one 20yo dropped to solid from excellent??? I'm at 20% now, and going to see if I can pop those two middies up to excellent, if not I'm dropping to 12% or so and seeing how long it takes to drop to passable.

I've been training my 23 yr olds at 35% stamina the last two weeks. They began at "excellent" and are still "excellent". Has anyone achieved formidable stamina this season? I'm wondering if it still exists.

Ruminating on things, in the old system, on a 16-week season we needed two weeks of stamina training to improve stamina, and I think even to hold stamina. 2 weeks in 16 would be equivalent to 12.5%. I pushed up to 15% for the time being, because 10% wasn't getting it done (players going down, none going up), but I'm guessing I'll slide back to around 13% at some point.
