This company? I usually get my stuff from TigerDirect.com and have never had an issue with them but just started looking around. Or maybe you have another recommendation? I try to stay away from Dell, etc.....

Pretty funny, I just started looking around myself. I've never dealt with ascendtech. Only other things I've really looked at thus far outside the typical Gateway / Dell type places are Ebay stores. There are some that let you do some customization, but I got a sketchy feeling about a number of them so that may not help you much. If I do find something interesting I'll let you know.
