Took the series 7 yesterday (brokerage exam). It is essentially a pass/fail exam lasting as long as 7 hours. If you score over a 70%, you pass. 73% was the national average, with 66% passing. I put up a 91%, finishing in 3 hours, with what could only be considered a less than optimal study plan :)

Doesn't matter at all for the rest of my life, but it was nice to throw it up there. Most of my peers passed. Only one person lost their job (didn't score a 60). Two people were in the 60's, so they get to retake it one more time. Best thing of all is I don't have to think about the damn thing ever again.

Congrats, thats an extremely hard test. I got a 70 the one time I took it.

Common sentiment was that limited partnerships were over represented. Perhaps a new point of emphasis.
