Hello all,

This season I decided to wait until two weeks were in the book before opening up the Top 25 poll. Now that a couple of games have been played, it is time to start the poll once again.

Ground Rules:

The poll is open to all forum members. All I ask is that if you decide to participate, you send in a poll each week during the season. It helps to keep the continuity of the poll going by having a stable set of voters.

The voting will open up the day after the last game of each week is played, and voting will close by kickoff of the first game of the following week. 24 hours prior to the poll closing, I will PM voters that haven't sent anything in a reminder.

Please keep the thread with voting submissions free of any comments about someone's vote. If there is an obvious mistake or omission, that is ok, but running commentary muddies up the thread. Comments should go into the weekly college football thread.

Solecismic's Football Frontier College Rankings will be one of the voters.

So without any further ado, let the voting begin! Voting closes at 6:30pm Central, Thursday Sept. 13.

we'll see if they stay there UCLA & Oregon might be very overrated early on as they both have major weaknesses that will be exposed once conference play starts. Washington is in there too and they play Ohio State this week so a major reshuffling will probally happen next week

He may be somewhat loyal to the Pac 10, but if you check out his 15th and 17th picks, I think you will see where his real loyalties are. :)

I don't know the College Football landscape well enough to participate, but I'm pretty surprised personally that Hawaii is still in so many top 25's.

There's a calculus that some people do that to me makes no sense, which is looking at a team's future schedule and guessing what their won-loss record will end up being, and voting based on that.

I don't really understand it, but I've heard it articulated.

Still about an hour to go for submissions. I won't be able to compile the list until later tonight, but submissions are considered closed once the first game kicks off.
