After seeing that in my league, the 2021 Eagles managed to average only 22,200 (32.4%) attendance, I was wondering a simple question. Do AI Franchises in Multiplayer ever propose to move their franchise?

The Eagles are a perfect example of a team that needs to move- they have a Poor (2) Stadium, Poor (0) Roster, Poor (0) support, and Fair (27- 4th worst) Economy, and the lowest Franchise Value in the league. Yet they have never proposed to move their franchise. They have never had a winning season, and have never made the playoffs.

So... do they? Or do my friends and I need to initiate this ourselves?

In our office league, which is in 2021 after starting out on 2k4 and moving to 2k7 for the 2018 season, I have never seen an AI team move, even after repeated stadium funding proposals failing.

Actually, you know the other thread about "commissioning" his own single player league? Well, when I've done that for extended periods of time I've seen teams move. But usually doesn't happen for years, (like 20-25) and sometimes it never happens...but it might if I'd simmed longer in those cases.

::edit::

I don't know if this matters for it or not, but I also "do NOT" start with level economic playing field.

Alright, thanks, the type of info I as looking for. I'm hoping to see the Eagles move sometime, because they're going nowhere in Philadelphia.

Well it might be useful to consider the possibility that there may be some randomness to all of that. Maybe the Eagles won't move and some other team will or something of the like. At the very worst, if you're commisioning, just go ahead and take control of the Eagles and move them....

I never did any testing to see who moves and why or anything like that...

Good luck Midget...
