Damn, he throws a sweet ball when he's on the run.

I was telling my friends that the future of VT football starts this weekend and they poo-poo me saying TT was another MV wannabe. He look pretty damn close to the real deal to me.

Next year when we bring back the entire O-Line, it's gonna be fun to watch - if only VT hires a competent offensive coordinator.

With Nikki being in her third trimester, all of our plans for going to games this fall went kaput. Unless we manage to get up there for the Miami or FSU games, it'll be the first season in over 15 years where I haven't been to Blacksburg.

This will be the first season in 28 years I go to a game in Blacksburg ;)...

I'll be over there, in my green and gold, in the dimunitive visitors section - should be a blast.

Of course, with our #1 and #2 RB's out any chance our high-powered offense have of making things even mildly interesting is probably gone. Our QB does appear to be the real deal so we may put up some points, but our defense (particularly our run defense) is terrible so I wouldn't be surprised to see you guys get into the high 40's or 50's unless you just pull back on the throttle.

Off to my first game at Lane Stadium. Should be a blast. Hopefully our offense puts up some points like I think they can (although a lot harder with our #1 and #2 RB's out with a slow 3rd down back as the starter now) keeping it at least interesting for a little while.

But, I'm sure VT will win handily in the end - so I'll be happy to see a large, full, loud college stadium for the first time (Maryland didn't fit this bill last year).
