Curious if anyone watched and what they thought. I thought it was decent and has potential but I'm not sure how it'll play out.

Mrs. Eaglesfan wanted us to tape it and we did, but we haven't watched it yet. I want to tape 2 or 3 weeks and see if it looks like it is going to get cancelled quickly before we start watching.

ditto. I like the casted guys, so I'll wait for some feedback before devoting the time to getting into it.

I was interested in seeing which New Orleans locations they used and how accurately they depicted certain parts of the city, but I ended up not even watching it. A couple of friends did watch it and thought it was terrible, but that doesn't necessarily mean much.

It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great, either. Lots of storylines laid down rather awkwardly in the pilot, but I liked what I saw in the previews. It's definitely looking more like an action show than a crime drama.

Thought it was overacted, cliched, and over the top. And the accents stunk. Too bad, because it looked like it had some budget.

The accents would be another reason that I'd want to watch. Pretty much every show depicting New Orleanians messes up the accents badly.

What I kept wondering is why they didn't just hire local actors. It's not like the acting was top level with who they had.

Yeah, that is my wife's biggest pet peeve about any show depicting New Orleans.

It definitely has a lot of rough edges right now, but I think it has promise. We'll see. I think that they just decided not to have accents, except for one guy who was kind of trying for an authentic accent but it just drifted into southern drawl at times. Definitely some New Orleans cliches -- generally not nearly as bad as on many New Orleans-based shows. EXCEPT -- evil rich white guy named Rex DuBois living in a plantation house? Um, no.
