I have the best rated QB in the league, but this guy looks like a freak of nature combine-wise:

All things considered, pretty modest (read: good looking QB, not spectacular) guy that will nearly certainly take a significant bump.

Carson Palmer is a 12 year pro and 80/80. I have real-life attachments weighin in on me avoiding trading up for this magnificent specimen (I pick 11th).

Try to trade up for him if possible. He doesn't seem like he'll be ready to play for 3 years anyways.

Looks like he has Tony Romo-esque kick holding skillz!

How'd you get the number 1 pick? And this guy looks like an absolute stud, I'm thinking he might break the +30 line.

It's like Ricky all over again, maybe we'll see Kirk in T.O. as well.

Just an update on this guy... he's entering his 10th season in the league and has continued to climb... he was a backup for the first 3 seasons. Came into the league at 11/58 as previously posted and as a 10 year vet has peaked at 83/83 but he still may get better.
I'd say the trade was worth it as he is the first player in my 65 year history to win 5 straight MVP awards.

And here's his stats:

Problem is, as you can see he's holding out because I franchised him... it's costing me 13.5 mil to franchise him, which is about 25% of what I would pay him if I offered him the contract he's asking for... which I simply can't afford without killing my team!
How many championships have you won with him?

Just out of curiosity, is there any reason why he started throwing so many INTs? Personnel or gameplan changes? His first 3 years starting, he throws 108 TDs and 37 picks, the next 3 years it's 144 and 64. Most of the QBs I have seen maintain a fairly constant ratio (obviously there are exceptions) I do notice a mild facial injury in 2021, the same year the number of INTs went up. Maybe it wasn't that mild...

I find it remarkable that it's 2023 and this dude is only 3rd or 4th in most passing categories...in Cincinatti!

I've given 2 banned people whose only significant transgressions were in non-FOF discussions access to the FOF2K7 and FOF2K7 MP forums. Suicane is one, and sovereignstar is the other.
