Didn't see one started yet.

Browns up 14-0 early on the Ravens. Long bomb to Edwards for a TD after McNair pick plus an opening drive to Cleveland.

Congrats to Brett Favre for becoming the all time touchdown passing leader! The Vikings have been moving the ball decently so far with Petersen. We'll see if they can keep it close.

Favre is more deserving of certain records than Marino...maybe I'm just saying that because the Raiders are playing Miami.

Derek Anderson? Where did this guy come from? And this is against Baltimore!

Tatum Bell is playing with a huge hole in his pants showing his ass cheeks. As if the Bears season could get any worse.

Why is Favre more deserving?

Weren't you following along? Favre has the Heart of a Warrior. It doesn't matter how many times he closes his eyes and recklessly throws the ball, nor how many times the ball is 15 yards overthrown or intercepted, he puts his heart, body and soul into it. How can you not appreciate such recklessness?

Griese to Moose for a TD, woot.

Celeval
09-30-2007, 01:11 PM
Jamal Lewis /barely/ gets into the end zone... maybe... the ball touches the line. It's real close - but Billick doesn't get the challenge flag thrown before the extra point, so it's 24-3 Cleveland with 5 minutes to play in the first half.

Raiders Army
09-30-2007, 01:12 PM
Damn I got shot down in two games at once. Griese scores a TD and Miami runs for a TD. F it.

Yeah, so Bears fans how's Griese (alkie) doing for you?

He'll be better than Rex, I think. I still think Rex is a far better passer, but Griese can handle being rushed a helluva lot better, and won't make as many stupid plays. With our O-Line pretty much sucking, Griese is the better choice. Rex just doesn't handle the pass rush well.

Nice TD pass there, too.

Y'know in the back of my mind, I gotta think that there was some reason why Lovie didn't put in Griese instead of Grossman. I was thinking that in practice at least Grossman gave them a better chance to win instead of Griese. I thought Lovie buckled under the demands of the fans and unhitched his wagon to pacify the media and fans.

Griese gives them a better chance to not lose.

Delay of game penalties suck. Chris Chambers spun the ball after he made a huge gain and he was penalized. WTF????

larrymcg421

I hope it wasn't fan pressure. I hope Lovie just finally bought a clue. I mean, how many games can a guy cost you before you try someone else. And if Lovie really thinks Griese is clearly worse than Grossman, then there's no excuse for not finding someone else in the offseason.

The center snapped the ball over Romo's head, it goes back about 25 yards, Romo picks it up and scrambles for a first down.

Andre Gurode just hiked the ball about 20 yards past Tony Romo, who then tried to pick up the ball, fumbled, picked up the ball and ran 34 yards(from the spot of the pickup) to get a first down.

Good. I've always liked Marty and didn't think they should have fired him after going 14-2. And certainly not when they did when Cameron and Phillips were gone. Chargers fall to 1-3 and the Padres lose and might miss the playoffs. Sucks to be a San Diego sports fan right now.

Good. I've always liked Marty and didn't think they should have fired him after going 14-2. And certainly not when they did when Cameron and Phillips were gone. Chargers fall to 1-3 and the Padres lose and might miss the playoffs. Sucks to be a San Diego sports fan.

fixed.

Let's hear it for garbage time - down 20-0, Carr to DeAngelo Williams for a 24-yard touchdown. Let it be said that I'm starting both Carr and Williams in my fantasy league today, so that's a nice last-second boost of 11.6 points.

If the Broncos don't end the DJ Williams MLB experiement next week, I'm going to jump off a cliff. The guy can't play the position. Misread after misread after misread. He's amazingly bad.

San Diego is just about to implode. Forget Kotite, Norv Turner is the single worst head coach in the history of this league.

See ya Norv Turner and probably AJ Smith too. Losing to what had been a pretty punchless KC team at home is the beginning of the end for them I think.

Definitely sounds like a new era in Atlanta

Atlanta Falcons (http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/teams/page/ATL) receivers Roddy White (http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/players/playerpage/523103) and Michael Jenkins (http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/players/playerpage/492964), two first-round picks who had the word "bust" placed next to both of their names by many skeptics as they languished in a run-oriented offense, are now showing that maybe it wasn't their fault after all.

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=200 align=left><TBODY><TR><TD width=200> </TD><TD width=15> </TD></TR><TR><TD width=200></TD><TD width=15> </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>Maybe it was a combination of things. Maybe it was Mike Vick's (http://cbs.sportsline.com/nfl/players/playerpage/235253) inability to get to the second and third reads. Maybe it was former coach Jim Mora's insistence on running the football.

Whatever it was, it isn't anymore.

New Falcons coach Bob Petrino, an offensive wizard who loves the passing game, makes sure his receivers get involved. They did so Sunday in the Falcons' 26-16 victory over the Houston Texans at the Georgia Dome, Petrino's first as an NFL head coach.

I'm glad to see this for only one reason.. his cap value is getting bigger and bigger with every big game. Jerry is going to have to pay through the nose :)

Ha. Paying a lot of cap money for a good QB or using very little cap money at QB but starting Quincy Carter. I will be very happy to see Romo getting his multi-millions.

I think MBIII is a restricted free agent after the season, Julius Jones will be unrestricted and it's widely rumored that the team is unlikely to resign him.

How can you go into a game with 4 healthy linebackers? What the fuck is Marvin doing? The Bengal players looked like they were trying their butts off... at least on defense... but they were just overmatched. The D-line is nothing special to begin with, but put no support behind them and you can just forget it.
