Is it my imagination or is it much harder to trade for 1st rd picks in this version?
It used to be very doable to accumulate high 1st rders and even the #1 pick in older versions......not saying this is a bad thing mind you.....but is there a trick to getting it besides going 0-16?:D

1-15 sometimes gets ya the first pick also

If you want to dominate; it is still pretty easy to stockpile picks. The AI will usually be fairly giving with future 1sts, and if you do it for a couple years you can trade current 1s for multiple future 1s. Do it to the bad teams & you'll end up with several top 10s. If a guy really floats your boat - you can trade your multiple firsts for a top 3.

To get started, I haven't been declined a #1 & #7 for a #1 in the upcoming draft. Even to a team I know will suck, and I know I will be very good.

I consider that cheating myself, and only allow myself to trade up in the current draft. And do not allow myself to accept ANY future picks.
