I wouldn't mind a shot at them either, I'd like to see how many times they could score with my defensive set up (5-4-1, I think I'm gonna try to build a team that just try's to stop people and try to get a lot of tie games), though I'm guessing it'd be quite a few.

I'm not sure mckerney and MylesKnight realize the kind of powerhouses these top teams are, or maybe they were just joking and I'm too dense to get it. Anyway, I went and looked at these two teams' National Cup Championship games, which they both won easily and I calculated their respective NSI ratings. Here are the game ratings for both teams in those matches:

Sadly, this casualty is not the first, it's the fourth. We have lost 4 teams that were once on dacman's list but are not owned by a FOFCer anymore. Fice, if you count Qwikshot's Qwakers, but he started anew with another team so it doesn't really count...

How do you lose your team anyway, besides by going Bankrupt (over $500K in Debt)?

If, after a certain amount of time an individual in inactive with their team, is it taken away?

If a team is inactive for seven weeks, it is then replaced (assuming the team is in Division V or VI). If it is in Division IV or higher, it becomes an automatic 5-nil walkover.

Yes, it WAS our first div VI team. Marmel has since received a div VI team also (VI.915).

Forget about easy season. From what I've seen, when they start filling up a league, they will keep on going until it's full. Just take a look at VI.913 and VI.915 and they look pretty much full of human teams, no Panthers, Gladiators, Vikings in there :)

Did you set your lineup for one match and then goto another match and set your lineup while also hitting, "make default lineup" possibly? If so, that might be the reason.

No, in each case I made changes to my lineup and submitted the form. I do not set more than one match at a time and did not check the default box. The match listing showed that orders had been submitted with the red check mark.

In any event I e-mailed the GM my resignation, so I'm gone. It was a fun experiment for the short time it lasted. As usual these things tend to be worth the price you pay for them, so i'm not heartbroken or anything by it.

Vex & Kevin, the exact same thing happened to me once, about three weeks into my HT "career". I remember clearly setting my lineup and I saw the little red tick that says your orders are in. I also didn't have any injured players at the time, of that, I am certain. When the game happened, my old default order was used and instead of tyhe 4-5-1 I was trying to play, it played a basic 4-4-2. Wsn't a big deal at the moment since It was my second league game and I was certain to be relegated anyway.

Kevin, what I did after that game was set all my lineup as being "default", week after week, for three weeks in a row. It has never happened again... If your decision is final, I'm sorry to see you go. That makes one less Canadian in the bunch... :(

My policy has been to keep teams on the list that post their desire to be so listed and have not had their teams replaced in hattrick. I may revise that for those folks who do not remain active on this board (johnnyveigns = Witches). Inactive (on hattrick) but still existing teams (Boston Bulldogs) will not be removed from the list because you never know if they'll become active again. **cough**cough** Marmel **cough**cough**

You do not need to be an official member of the FOFC Federation on hattrick to be on the list, so in short, you still technically have 3 FOFC teams in V.253 right now.

Just what we were waiting for. <Evil laugh> After winning the division there was a big a run on anything with the Spikes name on it.
