We had a month or two outage in the fall of 2004, due to a serious security breach at another Gamespy-hosted site. There was talk then of us branching out on our own and paying for a dedicated server. That would have cost some serious cash, and we've had no significant outages in three years since then, so that idea isn't being revisited unless it becomes necessary for some reason at a later time.

It is Skydog's fault for stating this in his Q&A thread! He's jinxed us!
