How to combat a loose stool?

My initial thoughts are to tighten up and keep it in, but I feel tempted to loosen up and just let it all get out. What Im seeing though is my volatility skyrocket and im unable to shake some of this illness off. Is it better to tighten up or just let it all get out even if you normally wouldnt?

Man, let it all out. If it hangs out, you have to do the shimmy shake to get that klingon off.

Is it me, or are all the guys that hang on seem to be larger than they feel?

No, if you try nailing the stool, it just packs it in even tighter and makes it more difficult to get it out.
