Something tells me this game is kinda dying off, we have some diehards that always enter, but with the scores not getting updated often and fewer playing I'm afraid this might end this season.

That's usually what happens by the end of the season anyway.

It was great of Vince to try to run the game, but not only is playing the game a marathon, scoring it is too. Every year I tell myself I'm going to write a program to handle everything, but every year I get really lazy. :)

I'll run a playoffs verson of the game this year, and hopefully next year I won't be such a lazy jackass.

Actually, wouldn't a spreadsheet make this really simple to score? I'll be glad to work one up if thats the case. I'd hate to think the game will vanish entirely due to a (IMO) relatively easy fix not able to be done.

I used a speadsheet last year to handle a lot of the scoring and it still took awhile to score. Someone with a lot more knowledge of spreadsheets would make one a lot better than I did, though. I really only know the most basic of basics when it comes to spreadsheets.

I keep intending to go back and catch up the scoring. With only two entries so far, maybe we call this an "off" week, have someone try to catch up the scoring and see if it picks back up next week? We haven't had a ton of entries but we did get 8 or 9 last week I thought.

I'l work on a spreadsheet and get the scoring caught up from week 1 forwad to this week.

Keep the game open, we'll give anyone who misses this week the flat average score of everyone who submits picks.

That'l give me a week to get this thing rolling with an easy scoring sheet to track it all.
