I see he spent the night in DeKalb County jail... is that in your neck of the woods?

I went there once.

To pick up a friend for a DUI. It's an interesting place, those jails.

So someone finally arrested him for releasing the worse song ever?

Actually, KR & his posse beat up some obnoxious guy at a Waffle House.

Kicker is that the guy who started the beef is the one facing the most serious felony charge, as he broke an $800 window on the restaurant which kicks the property damage into felony territory.

Pales in comparison to their assault on music...

And yeah, I heard about that on the news today. Had no idea the Waffle House was such a hang out for the tough crowd.

Easiest place in the world to find a fight on a Saturday night if you're so inclined.

I have new respect for Kid Rock. Anyone who likes Waffle House is okay in my book.

About 10+ years ago or so me and a group of friends rented a van and drove down from Ann Arbor to Atlanta to visit a buddy of ours that had recently moved there to work for Turner.

We left Ann Arbor around 7:30 pm or so and drove straight through. Pretty much as a soon as you get south of Ohio you see one of those yellow "W a f f l e H o u s e" signs at pretty much every exit.

Needless to say the repetition worked and we stopped at a Waffle House about 30 minutes north of Atlanta at around 5:30 - 6:00 am.

We talked to the waitress and it went pretty much like this:

Waitress: "So, where y'all from?'

One of us: "Michigan."

W: "Wahoowhee! Yankees! Just wait to Earl gets in! He's gonna love this."

So, our breakfast comes and Earl finally comes in and takes his familiar spot at the bar and orders up his breakfast. The waitress nods to our table and announces to Earl, "Earl, look. We got yankees in here."

Earl was a big fella dressed in a plaid flannel shirt and wearing a baseball hat that read: "Keep the South Clean, Send a Yankee Home." He eyed our table for a few long seconds and said: "Only two things come from the North. Yankees and bad weather." He then turned back around and finished his breakfast.

Not quite a brawl, but it was a memorable Waffle House experience nonetheless.
