If you're bragging about being a nerd, you're also a dork.

If it makes you feel any better, I spent most of the time during Alex's birthday party looking up LEGO sets on the net and discussing them with two of the other dads that were there.

Notepad kicks ass. Between that and using an HTML editor to do TXT files (since it's always open) I do 90% of my writing in plain text.

At least you're not talking about which LEGO sets were the best ones when you are over 30 years old.

Using a Mac makes you less of a nerd. Using a Linux based operating system makes you more of a nerd.

My list of applications I use the most:
Adobe Audition 1.5
Adobe After Effects 6.5
Adobe Photoshop CS
GIMP 2.4 (The new version of this open source program kicks ass)
Macromedia Flash MX 2004
WeBuilder 2007 (for my XHTML, CSS and PHP needs)
WAMPServer (for running PHP & MySQL locally)
TightVNC (to access your home computer from another)
OpenOffice (Microsoft office alternative)
Firefox (web browser)
Thunderbird (email client)
FileZilla (FTP application)
Rainlendar (calendar software)
RightLoad (allows you to FTP files by right clicking on it and selecting the server)
...and these that get the most use.
