I looked for a similar thread, and I was surprised I didn't see one. Am I the first person to need the collective advice of the board?
In my league we start 3 WR's. We don't use the TE- but you can use a TE as a WR if you want to. It is the typical scoring, 10 yards = 1 point, 1 TD = 6 points.
I need to start 3 WRs and here is what I have to work with.
Antonio Gates vs MIN. Pretty much guaranteed start every week.
Steve Smith vs TEN. Would love to start him, but the QB situation makes it tough.
Jason Witten vs PHI
Brandon Marshall vs DET
Donald Driver vs KC
Mike Furrey vs DEN
Lee Evans vs CIN
Kevin Curtis vs DAL
Reggie Brown vs DAL
Right now I'm leaning towards: Gates, Smith, Witten.
It's not a head to head league, so taking the consistent points of a TE is nice, but you do get a $25 bonus for winning the week.
Reggie Brown, Mike Furrey, & Donald Driver have been pretty much ruled out.
Lee Evans has started to come on strong lately, and is going up against a bad CIN defense. Brandon Marshall has been consistent and gets to go up against Detroit... And Kevin Curtis seems to have very low, or very high point totals.
