Ricky Proehl

Richard Scott Proehl (born March 7, 1968 in Bronx, New York) is a retired American football wide receiver of the National Football League. Proehl has played 16 seasons with the Phoenix/Arizona Cardinals, Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, St. Louis Rams, Carolina Panthers, and Indianapolis Colts. He has played in four Super Bowls and has won two: Super Bowl XXXIV with the Rams and Super Bowl XLI with the Colts. Proehl caught 669 career passes for 8876 yards, a 13.3 avg, with 54 TD.

Rick Upchurch

Richard "Rick" Upchurch (born May 20, 1952 in Toledo, Ohio) is former professional American football player who played wide receiver for the Denver Broncos (1975-1983) of the NFL. Before his NFL career, he played for the University of Minnesota. In his career with the Broncos Upchurch caught 267 career passes for 4369 yards, a 16.4 avg, with 24 TD. He returned 248 punts for 3008 yards (12.1) and 8 TD, and returned 95 kicks for 2355 yards (24.8). In 2000, Upchurch was named one of the 300 best NFL players of all time. Upchurch dated and was briefly engaged to Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in the 1970s. She left him because, according to her biographer Marcus Mabry, "She knew the relationship wasn't going to work on an intellectual level". He is now currently married and has 4 children.

Upchurch was my favorite player when I was a little tyke. Loved watching him return punts. I don't really believe he's better than Prohel, but I can't vote against him.
