WMP Problem: Everything tinted green?

I opened up a video in WMP and discovered that it was tinted green. I thought it must have just been the one file that was like that, but I've now opened several others and it appears that for some reason they are all now being displayed like that. Anyone every seen this happen before or know of a fix?

I've not experienced this myself but a Google search revealed this happening to others:

There are some fixes suggested there but I don't know how reliable they are. Good luck.
