So, it looks like I'm going to be buying / building a new PC and I'm way out of the loop on what is hip these days in terms of processors and stuff. I've looked a little bit at cyberpowerpc, but I'm not necessarily locked into them (I've built my own before, but I'm not sure if the savings are worth the hassle).

Looking at a budget around $1500. I'm not much of a gamer these days...but I do plan to pick up UT3.

I'm wondering what people think would be a good sweet spot for fast processor, 2 (perhaps 3) gigs of memory, motherboard and upper-mid-range graphics card for me, with that sort of budget.

I just threw this wish list together on newegg.com

https://secure.newegg.com<wbr>/NewVersion/Wishlist/PublicWis<wbr>hDetail.asp?WishListNumber<wbr>=6568652&WishListTitle=DD+wish<wbr>+list (https://secure.newegg.com/NewVersion/Wishlist/PublicWishDetail.asp?WishListNumber=6568652&WishListTitle=DD+wish+list)

There are $$ left over to add a monitor if needed, and of course keyboard, mouse, speakers.

I love putting these things together, just wish I had the $$ to get it.
