Vote for the group you would see if both were in concert.

Tough draw for Tesla as I think they are very underated, but the fact they are now playing Best Buy gives DL the nod.

At least Tesla's drummer still has both arms.

Oh sure, we have Def Leppard vs Tesla but Elvis against the Eagles. Something just isn't right here.

I thought about sticking the third "head" in there, but decided that would just be dirty.

Please, can you ever get enough Head?

That is kinda funny, I remember seeing Tesla opening up for Def Leppard and if I had the choice, I'd like to see the reverse happening, thus my vote. Tesla has grown on me better over the years than Def Leppard whom I got tired of. I can still play an old Tesla CD and enjoy the heck out of it and I'm sure they'd rock the place way more than DL but they are simply doomed now I fear...

I first saw Tesla opening for Poison at Market Square Arena in Indy in like November of 1988. That set hooked me into them for life. A fantastic live band, and their albums -- like Frogman just said -- have aged incredibly well.

dang, I saw that tour maybe a month later (or before) in Montreal. The Tesla/Leppard show was back in May/June of that year, the tour where they had a center stage setup. Good old times. :)

What hurts Def Leppard is that their most memorable song is probably the song that holds up the least over the years. Photograph is still a great song.
