Vote for the group you would see if both were in concert.

I don't get how this is remotely close.

Yep, the Ramones should be kicking the crap out of Pearl Jam. That's what you meant, right? ;)

Dola, usually I can kinda understand the way the vote is going, even if I don't agree with it.

If I HAD to go to one, I'd go to the Ramones.

I think The Ramones are more revered now than they were back in the day. In a way they are easier to identify with than Pearl Jam (Who I really like) a bunch of musical hacks that made it.

Dear lord. How much of this has to do with Pearl Jam's political stances recently?

Pearl Jam is one of those groups that's weirdly underappreciated, for reasons that have little to do with their music. Sinead O'Connor is another one.

Close call, but yeah.

I was just thinking the other day how, on some level, Pearl Jam will always exist in Nirvana's shadow. Unfortunately.

I like both, but it just seems like The Ramones would be better live.

I have no idea what their stances are, I just find their music boring and unlistenable.

Well, it's not like the Ramones were apolitical (think "Bonzo Goes to Bitburg").
I can't believe Pearl Jam won this one. At least Buddy Holly beat Metallica.

Only one vote separates them with an hour and a half left.
