No, not Big Foot.

It is Freddy Adu.

The kid is 13 and just totatly dominating against 17 year olds.

The Spanish radio team called him a contrast between Pele and Maradona.

Welcome to the big time, US Soccer.

To what grammatical standard shoudl we hold a second-rate outfit like soccertimes.com? In ten seconds, I quickly spot two spelling errors... one in the headline, and another in the player's first name (caption). What gives?

My quick answer? Misspellings - especially in news stories - turn me completely off to the source. For breaking news articles, I'll give some leeway, but that's about it. :)

I have never been a big fan of soccertimes.com because they are always late on reporting news and they do not have loads of material. If you really interested, check out bigsoccer.com. It is a message board and it has a good following.

Anyways, a link to Freddy's goal....

Enough said. A legend has begun.

I dont know, I sure hope so.

Maybe Marc can shed some light on the subject for us. If he does he will probably be a free agent and be snapped up by a big European club rather quickly. If your the US team manager you better cap tie him before Ghana claims him.

It would be really cool if he appeared in the first year of the MLS Superdraft and you had the first pick.

SI claimed that he could play backup in the MLS right now, and play well. Yikes.

hope he's in the game.
