Vote for the group you would see if both were in concert.

I honestly can't think of a band I'd rather see live more than vintage AC/DC. They just embody arena rock to me.

AC/DC for sure, but it's gonna be really close.

you people disgust me
I enjoy AC/DC, but I love The Who and would've loved to see them at their peak. Kind of funny to see them go against a band with an album named "Who Made Who?"

I won't get fooled again. AC/DC is back in black! Seriously, how is this even close? It's a long way to the top if you wanna rock and roll and AC/DC is there!
Seriously, how is this even close?
I agree, I'm disappointed at the showing for The Who. There must be a lot of people who haven't heard their Live at Leeds or Live at the Isle of Wight concerts.

Wait, the Who is losing to AC/DC? What the hell?

Keith Moon had more rock n roll than ACDC in his left nut.

I accept that I might've just been sheltered, but if I heard a song by The Who right now, I'd have no idea which group was responsible for it. AC/DC, on the other hand, is a group I'd recognize and certainly enjoy. That made it an easy choice for me.
Oh, also, Dodgerhoney voted for AC/DC, so that helped.

AC/DC are monsters of rock, however you heard 3 of their songs - you heard them all. hate to knock 'em like that, but after minute 15 you'd be like "um, what other tricks you got in the bag?".
listen to "Won't Get Fooled Again", or "Baba O'Riley" and tell me that's not rock.

I get what you're saying about AC/DC, but I guess that's one of the things I like about them. I guess I'll have to listen to something by The Who to really be able to make a comparison. For the purposes of the poll, though, if my choices for a concert were AC/DC and The Who, I'd have to go with wherever Dodgersweetness (not to be confused with Draft Dodgersweetness) was going.

Keith Moon was the drummer for the Who. Keith Frigging Who. Pete Townsend - Roger Daltrey, and FOFC picked AC/DC?
The Who came up with "My Generation", "Baba O'Reily", "Won't get Fooled Again", and Tommy.
AC/DC came up "Highway to Hell" and "You Shook Me All Night Long."
This isn't even close.

If Keith Moon were playing for Bananarama or Ace of Bass, that band would out-rock ACDC.

I voted for The Who, but let's not get carried away. AC/DC is one of the best live hard rock/metal bands ever. It wouldn't be a travesty for The Who to lose to AC/DC.

You have to remember that this isn't about which band is better. This is about who you'd rather see in concert, which is a huge difference.
I voted neither, but if forced to choose I would have gone with AC/DC. However, that doesn't mean I think they're the better band.

You're completely selling AC/DC short. Imagine "For Those About to Rock" live in concert with the cannons going off... that'd be so sweet.
The only reason I know who Pete Townshend is is because he sang that song "Let my love open the door"

That is exactly why I thought the Who would run away with this poll. It does not get much better than the Who live. A couple of years ago at Live 8, the Who pretty much played everyone else off the stage.

Somebody needs to get Shorty a 60s British Invasion rock album for Christmas. ;)

Exactly. The Who are considered to be one of the greatest live bands in history.

Well, if you think X band is better and they are an amazing live act, one of the best in history, why would you pick Y? ;)

Because I don't care much for their music. I appreciate their work, just not a fan.
Not much of an AC/DC fan either, but if forced to choose (I wasn't so I chose neither :)) I'd go with seeing AC/DC live.

I'd think appreciating a band's work and judging influence is a far different cry from which you think is better.

Wow.
Pete Townshend windmilling.
Daltrey spinning that mic around in a huge arc.
Moon kicking the Christ out of his drumset.
Entwistle's fingers dancing along the fretboard.
Wow, this is sad . . . .
