PJ is the easy pick here for me, even though I like CCR quite a bit.

I think PJ is somewhat hurt by how political they are and because they rebelled against the industry, rather than cashing in commercially.

Interestingly, not that a band's duration is real indicative of their impact/success, but PJ has already had a much longer career/existance than CCR had, and the key members of the band are still relatively young, so they could conceivably put together another 12-15 solid years.

I'm biased as Pearl Jam is one of my favorite bands but they put on fantastic 2:15-3 hour shows, mix up their set every night and throw in some good covers of bands they idolize (Neil Young, The Who, The Ramones, hell even CCR). Speaking of Neil Young...how is he not in this competition? Yikes. Maybe he'll show up with Pearl Jam at this hypothetical concert we're voting for as he's done in the past.

I find comical the sheer number of posts in a thread where people bother to just post "neither" or complain about both bands and how it's proportional to the number for each band. Kindof seems silly to me.

Shameless bumps? We made our vote, and now we, or at least I, am trying to see if people that have not voted will see this thread.

What the hell is there to discuss? You think Pearl jam would be better live. I think CCR would be. Most people already voted. Can't change their vote. Even if you could, what is there to discuss? Who is better live? How can I change the mind of somebody who says Pearl Jam is their favorite band.

Exactly Scoobz. CCR is the much better Traveling Band live. There are over 5,000 members of this forum and we can only scrounge up 80 votes? I think the object of these polls should be to get the most people as possible to vote and preferably to vote my way. Vote!
