2 tickets to the New Mexico Bowl. My research tells me it will likely be Air Force vs. Nevada.

This will be only the 2nd football game I have ever attended, at any level.

Crazy. I'm pretty sure I've attended more game than that in a single weekend...

Nice! Have fun St. Cronin!

It's been a couple of years since I've attended a college football game, and I've never been to an NFL game. I'm thinking about trying to get a couple of tickets to Army-Navy since it'll be in Baltimore this year though.

Wait, you mean that I, tk, idiot of all things football, have actually been to more games than ANYBODY here?!?!?!?!?!?! :D Wow, that's never an achievement I thought I'd have here.... ;)

Seriously, though, that's cool. College football games are fun, all the more so in bowl games. Hope you have a great time!! :)

Yeah...at least it's not like last year where the home team will end up playing there. Too bad Wyoming choked so much down the stretch that they're not going to a bowl game, but with how they've played lately..they're not much to see.

Hope you get a decent MWC team to see.

Me too. I saw Michigan play in Ann Arbor, then Eastern Michigan play in Ypsilanti. Good times.

Have fun, cronin! Be ready to lay the smack down on anyone pulling for a playoff! :)

I just had the best worst weekend of live football. I saw CMU on Friday, Michigan on Saturday, the Lions yesterday, and they all lost.

How much do tickets for a game like that cost, anyway?

I went to my first game since college this season too. Got to watch BC thrash GT in Atlanta. I didn't know they didn't serve alcohol at college football games. I was pacing myself during tailgating because I didn't want to be too drunk. It was quite a let down.

Since I didn't go to high school, I never had a reason to go to a high school game, so that's out.

Besides that, though, I've been to approximately 10 Tulane games, 15 Arena Football games, 1 Pitt game, 4 Saints games, 1 New Orleans Bowl (Memphis vs. North Texas), and I guess about 13 Seton Hill University games. That's more than 40 football games, and with the exception of one Saints game, all of them have been in the past 8 years.

Gee, and I thought I was a lightweight in the football attendance category, especially since I went to a university that doesn't play football.

Wow, that's pretty cheap. Maybe I should look into going to the Motor City Bowl one of these days.

Cincinnati Bearcats vs Arizona Wildcats would have been a more entertaining one frm the stats and highlights I've seen.....

It was great fun, I would love to do this again next year. We were actually sitting right next to UNM linebacker George Carter's mother, and there were a bunch of player's wives/girlfriends in the section. It was very cold (24 degrees at the final buzzer), so we spent a lot of money on hot chocolate. On the way in, there were people giving away all kinds of cheesy stuff - ballcaps, press kits, etc.

What, they played the game in The Pit?

Good point. I've no idea what noun phrase to use to describe the moment when the clock goes to 0:00 in a football game.

I went to the homecomming game there in 1994. UNM against the Utah Utes. Utah was ranked 5th at that time. Anyway, The Lobos won the game on a last second field goal and the crowd went absolutely wild tearing down the goal post and everything.

An absolutely fantastic experience for a young Danish exchange student. I had only been to a couple of high school games until then.

Since I have been to an NFL Europe game and lots of games in the Danish leagues, as a player, official and spectator.
