I'm putting the finishing touches on my 120 page Action Research paper for my Masters degree (FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). I have one stupid hiccup before I take it down to Kinkos for binding:

For my appendices, I am required to remove any page numbers from this section. I cannot figure out to do this! I can remove them but then the other pages also lose the page numbers.

Is there a way to have some pages numbered and others not? This seems so easy but I cannot get it for the life of me!

Thanks so much. This will be a great Thanksgiving having this finished!

Break the appendices out from the main paper?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I once did an oral report regarding Action Research for a film history course. My report was about B-grade action films, and while it was well received by the guys in my class, the girls in the class didn't seem to care very much.

Oh, I'm sorry, did you mean something else?

I've never figured out how to stop numbering for appendices either... so I have a separate doc file for the Appendices too. I know Word allows you to skip numbering on the first page, but that's the only option I could find.

Ive had the same problem.

All I do is save one version as report.doc and one as reportwithoutpage numbers.doc

its a little clunky but works.
