I'm sitting here at work and the guy behind me points out that I have a dot of blood on the back of my shirt. I went and checked it out, and sure enough, there's a decent sized dot of blood there. I took of my shirt in the change rooms here and checked my back, and turns out the blood is not mine.

Now I gotta sit here for 2 hours with someone elses blood on my shirt.

A good raincoat and a drop cloth are decent remedies for splatter. Also, if you thrust rather than slash, you get better results. Punctures rarely spray.

I wouldn't worry too much. So it's a little blood. What's the big deal? I mean, it's only one drop on your shirt. It's probably something completely innocent like someone sneezing after picking pretty hard. Besides, the other few drops likely went someplace you'd never notice, like in your hair.

The first was an article about a new trend overseas where gangs will use the blood drop as a way to "mark" a target for later in the day. One gang member puts the mark on, and anyone else who sees it knows that to do.

What a weird coincidence.

The blood drop usually happens about three hours before they flash their headlights at you.
