So far, so good, but usually it takes about 18 hours for soreness to set in for me.

For those in the dark, the story here is that GrantDawg and Steve Kuffrey got me to play a "virtual reality"-type boxing game at ESPN-Zone last night. The game registers your body movements. By the time I was done, I was completely winded and sweating hard. Definitely the toughest physical effort was simply throwing as many punches as I needed to throw.

I played that game this summer at the ESPN Zone in Vegas. I loved it, but realized how out of shape I am. Unfortunatly, It was rather embarassing when my brother's fiance did better than I did (but at least she did better than my brother, too)...

That sounds fun. I've never seen that game. I imagine it looks like the virtual golf simulators at Dave and Busters's but only with boxing on the projector?

Except that boxing is a little more physically taxing than golf, shall we say. I'm not exaggerating at ALL when I say that I was huffing, puffing and sweating by the time I was done. I fought two different guys. I won the first via TKO very late in the first round, but then there was NO BREAK AT ALL before fighting the 2nd guy. (I was expecting the one-minute between-rounds break.) Also, it didn't reset me to full strength on my "damage" indicator, so the 2nd guy got me tired AND damaged. I had no chance. He knocked me out about halfway through round 1.
