I'm sorry folks. I gave SkyDog access to vbulletin.org for the new WOOF forum, and I think he's running amok like a kid in a candystore :D

Why is the split bad?

Why is the split bad?
I don't mind the split, but I run the "At the office" theme so I can be on here from work alot.. With the new apperance, it looks alot more like a forum rather than something productive because of a big black bar through the middle.
I guess it is a small nitpicky thing, but it is something i wish I could undo. :)
I like the stickies separated.

It's kind of distracting. I didn't think anyone got the stickies confused with other threads.

It'd be cool if we could collapse the stickied threads.

Oh come on, one bar all of a sudden makes this site attract attention from your co-workers?

wouldn't that defeat the purpose of a sticky?

Well, by nature, stickies tend to become useless because it's the same thread there for eternity. I'm not having any trouble posting, so I don't need to see that thread.

Change over to that theme and you'll see what I mean. :) But like I said, its not the end of the world, and I doubt I would even have said anything if someone else hadn't started a thread on the change. Since the conversation started, I figured I would toss in my two cents to the contrary!
Nothing to stop the rotation of the world over though, carry on! :)

No upgrade, it looks like a simple vbulletin.org hack to me.
The next serious board upgrade will be announced at least a week in advance, especially after the traumatic upgrade to version 3.6.
vBulletin 3.7 has just been unveiled, but it will be a while before the final release version is ready, as beta 1 has not been released yet.

That's the lamest hack I've ever seen.
