Electric blanket for my wife. I hate crawling into bed before her and warming up her spot.

I'm looking for a novelty gift for a friend that's around $5. I should walk into a porn store and buy some obese stuff.

I got my dad an XM radio, I think he will like it if he can learn how to use it.

I went with the electric matress pad couple of years ago and think it is a much more worthwhile purchase. Separate controls and it doesn't move around on you.
This year though it's going to be my dick in a box.
I'm going to buy a huge full HD plasma TV for my 1.5 months old baby, I asked him if that is what he wanted and he didn't say no.

My wife "suggested" a few things to me, but they changed from day to day. She forgot she wanted an iPod, but she also noted she wanted a new phone that she can check her emails on. So I figured I should probably get the iPhone for her.

My wife and I along with my sister and her husband just decided to not get anything for each other for Christmas. We're going to save the money we would have spent on each other and just go on a cruise together sometime next spring.

Wish I could go on a cruise. That won't happen for a few more years I guess.

Wife and I decided not to buy each other presents this year, and instead we're treating ourselves to a night away at a really nice hotel.

You fell for the ole' 'buy ourselves something together' bit?
You do realize that you now have to bring the gift to the hotel right? Granted, it morphed from a Christmas gift to a 'Just because I love you' gift.

In that case, he needs to go with PilotMan's gift.

I got my wife too much stuff to remember it all.
Ever since our first Christmas together I have bought her an outfit that I put together myself, so I stayed with tradition and did that again for the third year in a row. I also bought her some stuff from VS to wear to bed and some nice PJs. Then I got her some makeup she wanted from Bare Essentials.
Looney Toons Golden Collection vol. 1
Assorted chocolates
A watch from Fossil
Some cheap white gold CZ earrings so she has something other then the garnet ones she always wears.
A couple DVDs, Mean Girls, Just Friends
A couple assorted shirts, sweaters from Target
I might have missed a thing or two.
Plus I bought a gift from Santa to us both, I got the Xbox 360 Scene It for us to play and invite friends family over to play.

Heh. Well, we're still doing stockings for each other, so she'll get some items on Christmas. But truthfully, we both feel like we have enough "stuff". We'd rather use the money for things like this, or to save up for a family vacation.
Though since the hotel room has a Fuji tub built for two, maybe I'll buy her a rubber duckie beforehand...

Mom: 2 Doo-Wop Music Box sets
Dad: Noise Cancelling headphones, ice fishing in Maine DVD
Brother: Mass Effect (Xbox 360) and a Boston Red Sox Championship DVD set
My Uncle (Kris Kringle, lives in Texas): a 7 inch Digital Picture frame.
True story: To ship it to me, cost $3.99 for two day delivery. On Saturday, I took it over to Post Office, which closed at noon (on the last weekend before Christmas????).. so I took it over to the UPS store. They told me that to guarantee it would make it there by Christmas, I couldn't use UPS Ground delivery, and that I would have to send it two day.
They charged me FORTY DOLLARS to ship this same package to Texas
FORTY FUCKING DOLLARS.
I almost told them that they could go fuck themselves at that point, but I figured that as long as A) The package got down to Texas in time, (I didn't want to be a grinch and send a gift that arrived after christmas), and B) I would never ever go to a rip off shop like this UPS Shop ever again, I didn't have much choice.

Damn. Forty dollars. That sucks.
My wife ordered this picture album thing from Walmart online, and she added various pictures to it. She picked it up yesterday (stupid Walmart never called us to tell us the thing was in on Saturday even though when you order the thing they tell you that you will be notified when the item is available for pickup), and the thing looks like something my 6 year old son would make in art class at school. Granted, it was only $10, but still....a cardboard cover on it??? WTF???

A 6 year old probably did make it.. in China.
Probably should have went with USPS express. Doubt it would have been $40. I shipped a 12 lb package express to Australia and it was like $80

The thing is, all the Post Offices around were closed, and do not open at all on Sundays. I was risking losing TWO days and risking it being late if THAT couldn't be delivered in time

I'm pretty unoriginal. I got everyone in my family the same thing.
I pushed my wife down the basement stairs.
I kicked my father in the head.
I punched my mother in the face.
I backhanded my sister.
I did an elbow drop on the cat.
I headbutted my cousin.
I shot a BB gun at my aunt.
Of course, the question was about what we bought our families for Christmas, and I guess in my case, the answer is "nothing." Pain is free.

No, but he travels a lot for work, and he complains constantly that unless he has his regular headphones up way too loud to be safe, the jet engines and the constant chatter around him keep him from relaxing and/or concentrating on his music.

Yeah, but because I'm in two cold spots, by the time she comes to bed my balls have shriveled up making me seem less "manly". It's a hard trade-off. I know, TMI.

I'm still confused. Technically if you ship on this upcoming Saturday (this week) you could next day air something for it to arrive on Monday... :)
Plus in many parts of the country the Post Office will try to deliver packages on Christmas day if they have them at the office.

This makes no sense. Why didn't you shoot your cat with a BB gun and do an elbow drop on your aunt? Just seems a little easier on the body if you ask me. :D

Good point! See, I've been telling people that I'm terrible at giving gifts, and nobody believes me. This is proof that I'm telling the truth.
