I can't start who I want!

I can't figure this out. If I change my depth chart, or my gameplan and simulate the game, the changes don't end up happening in game. I try to gameplan so I can run bump and run at 100% (as just a test) and it didn't happen. When I watched the game it was calling at the default %'s as far as I could tell. I can't start people on my defense or offense as I want, it just changes them for the game and then when I check the depth chart after the game it has reverted back.

I've tried saving and loading before games, and it still reverts back. I've tried "locking" and that doesn't work.

This is probably a simple fix, but I have been struggling with it for 3 days now and am frustrated.

Go to Global Game Options --> Edit Global Options, and turn off the options for the Coach to reset the game plan and depth charts.
