Mine are pretty simple, actually. I find if I keep things small, I do better.

1. Finish grad school applications and get accepted to somewhere with tuition waiver and teaching assistantship.
2. Enjoy my last semester of undergrad life.
3. Beat Jeanne D'Arc.
4. Make myself a Dark Knight in FFT: War of the Lions
5. Finish The Beautiful Girl and the History Class
6. Do more work on my writing.
7. Discover the joys of love again.

7's a good number, I think. :) A mixture of the serious and slightly frivolous, as every list should have.

Professional life needs less attention these days. Now I just really, really, need to get out more.

I'm making my first ever New Year's Resolution. I'm going from 245 lbs. to 200. Guaranteed. I started weight watcher's yesterday. I want to be around to watch my kids grow up, and that is motivation enough for me.

+1. My career is doing well, time to try to find someone to enjoy my life with. Not that I'm hell bent on finding "the one" this year, but I have to start looking...

I also have a goal of finishing at least one stitching project that I started last year this year. ;)

Lets see, here are mine!

1. Get the behaviorist job I am applying for.
2. Finish my two applications and get accepted into the School Psychology specialist degree program in at least one of the two schools.
3. Finish my bachelors strongly this spring.
4. Stick to a good diet and exercise plan. I want to get in really good shape for my wedding.
5. Read the bible more.
6. Sleep more consistently to get ready for being married.
7. Learn to dance the waltz and Armenian for my wedding.
8. Save enough money to pay for my honeymoon in Hawaii and to have at least a little money in the bank to avoid any debt starting out with buying furniture, security deposit, etc...
9. Continue learning to speak and understand more and more Armenian
10. Love my fiancee more and more every day that passes by
11. Get married!

Get one of my boardgame ideas finalized and produced. I don't care if I sell just 1... at least then I know I did it. (Not talking about being Milton Bradley and having it on Walmart shelves here...)

1-2007 was a busy year and I want to get back to spending more time with my family and less with jobs and projects.

2-Make the time to get back into the gym. I was a gym Rat for years and literally went less than a dozen times last year....It's amazing how much different you feel.

3-Take some computer programming classes, so I can convert a futuristic sports management game I created almost 20 years ago into a computer game eventually.

1. Lose 10kg (22 lbs) from 94kg (207lbs) to 84kg (185 lbs).

I did well in 2007 year, loosing 10 lbs and getting in great shape after years not doing anything, but i have put in again 4 lbs in the last 2 months since my baby was born.

In 2007 i started running and later swimming, from 15 minutes 3 days per week to 1 full hour running 3 days per week and 1 hour of swimming 2 days per week. Then my baby was born 2 months ago, and the lack of sleep at nights plus the extra time required by the baby didn't allow me to do any exercise since then, so i'm loosing the shape and gaining weight again. Even worse, i lost the habit of doing exercise and even when i have time, i'm just lazy about it and always find an excuse to not to do it.

My problem is not what i eat as i follow a typical Mediterranean diet, with tons of salads and vegetables and no saturated fat or sugar, but that unless i go out for running/swimming i just sit around 15 hours per day in front of the PC, and at 32 years old, that means gaining weight for sure.

2. To keep my office/computer room aways clean and organized.

It has been always a mess, to the point of my wife refusing to ever enter into it. My desktop is always full of papers, DVD's, hardware pieces, cups of coffee, cans of diet coke, etc. The same about the room floor. The selves are totally unorganized, and even my PC desktop is full of unused icons not organized at all.

Here is a current pic i just took to further embarrass myself in public and to push me to change right now. My wife is now shopping with her mother and i'm going to start organizing it right now, so it will be a great surprise for her when she comes back. I'll post pics once finished.

1. Lose weight (as always, maybe one year I'll actually do this)
2. Increase my skills. Girls love guys who have skills.
3. Stop failing at life.

I usually don't make any new years resolutions, but there are some things I really need to do this year to be successful:

1. Do not, under any circumstances, consider, ponder, wonder, or even dream about dating.
2. Find and maintain a regular sleep and exercise schedule.
3. Lose at least 40 pounds. I need to lose more than that but I want to get more than just a couple pounds under 300 and never look back.

Beautiful. There is nothing quite so precious as the love of two bearded men.

1. No more being nice to people who are puppets for the capitalist system. It's time to tell them that they have no soul, no worth. Just like the money that they make has no soul, and no worth. While they worship their rectangular paper gods, I will make myself be of service to others, rather than drinking from the golden bullshit filled chalice that is America.

2.Try to suck my own dick

3. "Save Darfur Swear Jar". Every time I say a swear, I imagine myself donating $1 to a Save Darfur charity. That way, I feel better about myself.

4.Kleenex ball for Global Warming. Every time I sneeze or rub one out, I stick the kleenex to another kleenex. I will eventually have a big ball of Kleenex. This will help the environment.

5.No more blaming it on "night terrors".

6.To have sex without my trusty ski mask.

1. To reduce my soda intake to next to nothing (I don't think I can zero it out entirely)
2. To finally get my fat fanny in some kind of shape
3. To find the patience I sometimes lack with my four-year-old when she does predictably stupid four-year-old things (also extends to my soon-to-be-two-year-old)
4. To find some way of better incorporating God/Bible/spirituality into my life beyond Sunday mornings
5. Get my house in Michigan sold (anyone want one half of a duplex in Ann Arbor?)
6. Get our financial house in order (my wife is due a fair amount of money from the passing of her grandmother a year ago, but she's got an uncle who isn't long on character managing the affairs of the estate so we're worried he's going to do something to screw us out of it)
7. Just be a better person

1. Apply for law school
2. Get all A's all year
3. Remain positive in spirit and mind.
4. Decide what if I want to take a year off of school or go straight to law school (This is a biggy for me especially since my family is saying don't take a break because it is likely I will never go if I do)
5. Get a job.

Goals rather than resolutions, I think.

1) Knock my credit card bills in half.
2) Lose weight, get more exercise.
3) Start painting.
4) Knock boots at least once a week.
5) Toss out everything I haven't touched in a year.
6) Explore classical music.
7) Manage depression better.

after spending all of January 1st thinking i was dying from alcoholic poisoning from too many vodka drinks and absinthe consumption, i decided i would no longer drink liquor. not a resolution so much. i don't like resolutions, i think of those more as "promises you promise to break at some point, most often soon after January passes". i'll still drink beer, but the hard stuff won't happen anymore. no more shots. at the very least i'll limit it to faggy drinks or heavily diluted mixed vodka drinks.

I would, but I don't want to make people have to "confirm their birthdate".
